Synopsis

The chapter depicts the protagonist facing a powerful magic user, Varigos, whose "Baptism of Blood" attack overwhelms conventional means. Through his martial arts and inner strength, the protagonist activates a new skill, "Phantom Footwork," allowing him to dodge attacks that previously seemed impossible. The magic user expresses respect for the protagonist's rare martial arts prowess in the mana-rich environment. The protagonist contemplates using a dangerous and unstable technique called Ki Fortification, realizing his current abilities are insufficient to pierce Varigos's defenses.
