Synopsis

The chapter opens with a discussion about a boss monster protected by a constellation's blessing and the importance of a successful assassination. An initial attack involving a multi-magic missile barrage is followed by a fight where an Orc boss fails to hurt the monster despite being 'buffed'. A poisoned dagger attack seems to succeed initially, but it quickly fails to incapacitate the monster, revealing its identity as a powerful warrior who is the servant of another warrior and will not fall easily. The assassins appear outmatched and are forced to retreat.
