Synopsis

The chapter establishes the setting of the story in the virtual reality world 'Interverse,' where many real-life functions are replaced by virtual experiences. It then focuses on the popular MMORPG 'Heroes of Time' (HOT), and introduces Lee Hyun Joong, known as 'Black Skull' in-game, as he participates in a spectator match called 'Planet Man' and exhibits incredible skill by dodging all attacks. The chapter ends with a monologue from Lee Hyun Joong reflecting on the stark differences between the real world and the virtual world and sets the stage for future events.
