Lagier and his group awaken from a bizarre dream world to find they were trapped by a young Holy Demon who sought companionship by creating a dream where he could be a powerful Demon King. The demon, named “Fake” by himself due to believing he is expendable, reveals his loneliness and lack of awareness of real-world consequences. Now back in the real world, Lagier and his group must decide how to help the villagers who remain trapped in the demon's dream.
