The chapter opens with the main character recovering from a sleep-inducing attack. They encounter a character calling himself the Demon King Embilden, but quickly realize he's an imposter. After easily defeating him, the main character learns that this fake Demon King put the villagers to sleep using sleep incense instead of killing them because he is lonely. This fake Embilden admits to only having the appearance of the real demon king, but none of his power.
A supposed Demon King, Embilden, is revealed to be an imposter by the main character, who also learns that the fake Demon King put the villagers to sleep because he didn't want to be alone.
