Later, demons attack a village, prompting the magician, who had been left for dead, to reveal hidden strength, defeating them with ease. The prince and his advisor, observing from afar, are surprised by the magician's abilities and send Tay to check on him.
The main characters split up; one group goes to check on an injured magician while another goes to fight demons. The magician, despite being initially deemed weak, defeats the demons.
