Synopsis

Lagier, the protagonist, utilizes a magical book inherited from a previous demon king to record and control those loyal to him, starting with Sedna. He's then greeted by the Sapphire Knights, assigned to protect him by the country's King, and later by a delegation from Jerlayla, his home island, who plan to escort him to his coronation. While his companion is excited to explore, Lagier shows his interest lies in analyzing the political power dynamics rather than sightseeing, opting to rest instead of joining them.
