Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist reflecting on their character status window and skill gains, contrasting it with Ellen's magical awakening. They have a conversation about respect and attitude within their group. Later, they delve into the sewers to find a secret passage, where they face ratmen and then a large, disgusting slime monster that nearly kills Ellen, leading the protagonist to reveal their own internal motivations for protecting their comrades.
