Synopsis

Following the devastating fire at the inn, the chapter focuses on the high death toll and the city's rampant lawlessness. While many struggle with the tragedy, Ellen remains focused on her magic training. A character is poisoned, leading to a near-death experience. In a surprising turn, Ellen uses magic to save them, demonstrating her latent magical abilities and anger at the situation. She then helps take down the person who did the poisoning.
