Synopsis

Nox, after being the first to choose from the family's prized horses, defies expectations by selecting a horse with negative traits, including a terminal illness and debuffs, called Carl. Despite doubts and criticism, he sees potential in Carl and intends to use his knowledge to save the horse. He later brings the horse into his room, reflecting that it mirrors his own struggle to live, and is subsequently interrupted by a friend who had been secretly watching him train.
