Synopsis

Nox is confronted by Eleanor during an apparent artifact acquisition process, undergoing a strange test of his honesty, which is seemingly detected by Eleanor's unique ability. Subsequently, it's disclosed that Nox is apprenticed to Professor Kas, who is revealed to be behind Nox's access to the Eldein treasure vault, an opportunity he eagerly anticipates. The chapter concludes with Nox reflecting on his gains and Eleanor's role as co-owner in this venture and the necessity of an artifact for his future growth.
