Synopsis

The chapter begins with the protagonist undergoing a trial to join Lunatic, a criminal organization. This trial involves battling numerous intermediate-rank monsters under a red moon that induces a 'Berserk' state, increasing stats but risking mind control. It's also revealed that the hero's teacher was murdered, that the protagonist's family might be hiding their skilled members, and that the Empire is divided with a benevolent princess and a tyrannical empress vying for power. Ultimately, the protagonist decides to infiltrate an academy, and undertakes the trial wearing a special robe to prevent fully losing control to the Berserk effect.
