Synopsis

The chapter opens with ominous foreshadowing of a coming conflict and then shifts to an unexpected monster attack during academy tests. Nox, the top student, surprisingly intervenes to save Eleanor, despite her reputation. This action leads to suspicion and curiosity about his motives, further complicated by the fact that the protagonist is stated to not exist in this world. Nox reveals his intention to play both the villain and the protagonist to achieve his goals of memory recovery and discovering who sent him a mysterious message.
