Synopsis

The chapter follows the protagonist as he completes a long series of gathering quests for a grateful NPC. As a reward for his efforts, he receives a rare 'Hero Rank' drake monster guardian instead of a simple item. Excited by the guardian's power, he decides to contract it but realizes he needs to increase his leadership stat. Meanwhile, his friends at school are concerned about his lengthy absence due to gaming and decide to check on him after class.
