Ian, upon arriving in a new area, is informed about a national quest to hatch a Griffin egg that the kingdom has been unable to hatch, and that the Emperor would like his assistance. He acquires new summoning skills, including the ability to summon a lightning spirit, which he names Jjaegi. After that, Ian is then able to gain an audience with the Emperor by declaring himself as the Prophet of Summoning, realizing that the guards are treating him with more respect due to the Emperor's quest, and notes the surprisingly high levels of the guards in the kingdom.
