Synopsis

The chapter depicts a challenging fight against a dark mage with the ability to absorb the dead to recover, complicating the battle. A curse prevents most of the group from contributing, leaving only Karceus, Gan Jihoon and Balaam able to fight effectively due to their immunity. The group realizes they must deliver a single devastating blow to prevent the mage's regeneration, but struggle to figure out how to achieve this, ultimately needing to risk their lives. The chapter ends with an attack from the team proving insufficient, as the mage immediately regenerates, underscoring the difficulty of the fight.
