Synopsis

The chapter begins with a character's level increasing, which causes a dragon to absorb them instead of initiating an attack. The group then encounters a massive swamp and prepares for battle. The energy collected from a previous fight with the Kaimon Bastards has been used to fulfill the requirements for the hatching of one of the five legendary dragons, Karceus. The chapter ends with Karceus hatching and attacking its supposed ally.
