Synopsis

Elric is formally inducted into the Royal Guard and tasked with finding a suitable settlement, a task complicated by a large number of Deathworms in the location he recommends. He suggests using Death Plants to lure the creatures above ground, leveraging his ability to perceive demonic energy to easily locate them. The Royal Guard Captain is skeptical, but Elric's confidence and clear demonstration of his unique talents win them over. The chapter closes with Elric gathering Death Plants, hinting at his hidden power.
