Synopsis

The chapter opens with Mephisto and Elric discussing the seal of 'Original Sin' and its significance, hinting at a power dynamic between them. The Inspection Bureau, led by a figure seeking to climb the ranks, ambushes Elric's mansion, seemingly having discovered a hidden vault thanks to Kaya. Elric and his associates escape while the mansion collapses, and the Inspection Bureau discovers the vault is empty and suspect a demon presence.
