The chapter reveals that Taimune, the one ordered to harm the young master, was in fact Joshua Runcandel. Taimune confesses his betrayal and his involvement in harming the young miss. He is interrogated about his motives, reveals he was poisoned by Kujan, and in his final moments he reveals that the mage who cursed the young master 15 years ago is Keydart Hall. He dies from the poison before further interrogation can take place.
Taimune, having been exposed as a traitor, confesses his actions were driven by revenge and reveals the identity of the mage who cursed the young master, before succumbing to poison.
