Synopsis

The chapter revolves around a tense confrontation between the protagonist and his nanny, who is accused of secretly training assassins and potentially ordering an attack on the Yueling Master Jin. It is revealed the nanny was protecting them and the protagonist finds out that his past staff were actually murdered by his own siblings. Taimune cuts ties with her subordinates. The protagonist also learns of the Shadow Energy possessed by Jin, and of a mysterious "that person" orchestrating events. The chapter ends with the protagonist vowing to investigate the truth, despite his distrust of his former subordinates.
