Synopsis

The chapter begins with the imposter using knowledge gleaned from a hotline about Veradin Zipple to successfully convince a gang that he is Zipple. He takes advantage of their fear of the real Zipple to obtain their account books and a list of their customers. While the gang attempts to verify his identity, the imposter instructs a subordinate to escape with the evidence to another country, promising protection from the gang's wrath. The imposter maintains his control over the situation, acting with arrogance and decisiveness.
