Synopsis

The chapter opens with a group of individuals arriving at Mamit, a lawless area, aiming to kill Alcaro Zanderer. Alcaro, a known hedonist and drug user, is revealed to be staying at the Moonlight Well inn, protected by capable escort guards. The protagonist observes the situation, acknowledging the challenge of killing Alcaro due to his guards and the unwritten rule against poison use in Mamit, and strategizes to find a way to kill him while avoiding the consequences.
