Synopsis

Boras, the protagonist, is being trained by the Fifth Battle King, who implants a new tooth using incredibly strong material. Boras then observes the immense damage in the training hall left by previous fighters, showing the intensity of their training. The Fifth Battle King explains that these marks were left by Boras' predecessor, leading into a demonstration of the first form of the shadow sword style, called Soul Slice, which the protagonist is about to learn. The Fifth Battle King shows off his dense shadow energy before demonstrating the technique.
