Synopsis

The chapter opens with Jin Runcandel, the youngest son, bringing a cat into the family and naming it Butterfly Runcandel, causing outrage due to the prestige of the Runcandel name. He states he will be responsible for the cat and will avenge any insults directed at it. Four years later, Jin is a cadet, showing talent, but is more focused on helping his classmate Bellop, who is struggling, instead of training with his family members. He vows to help Bellop avoid expulsion, showing a protective side and hinting at a future where he might deviate from the typical Runcandel path.
