The chapter begins with the Berserk Demon, having been awake for days, finally finding a chance to rest. This is short-lived as Jin Sohan appears, initially using a disguised voice to provoke the demon. Jin reveals that his subordinates from Changan have gathered to drink with the demon and are surrounding the building. He uses this as a thinly veiled threat, citing their 'inescapable net formation'. Despite initial reluctance and wanting to fight, the Berserk Demon is eventually persuaded, or rather forced, to have drinks with Jin and his subordinates.
The Berserk Demon, exhausted and seeking rest, is interrupted by Jin Sohan, who claims his subordinates from Changan want to drink with the demon and have surrounded the building. The chapter ends with the demon begrudgingly agreeing to drink.
