Synopsis

The chapter begins with a sword fanatic being chased and mocked for his slow movement by members of the Changan Unorthodox Faction, who then threaten to fill Changan with blood because of him. He's ultimately cornered by the group, who demand his surrender and threaten violence. During the confrontation, the hero reflects on his opponents' strength and his own skills. Another character, seemingly a rival, confronts him about his lifestyle and associations with the Changan Unorthodox Faction and the Great Demoness' disciples, implying his master's potential survival and the complicated web of allegiances.
