Synopsis

The chapter opens with the drunk Ximen clan leader insulting the Linorthodox faction and dismissing their losses. The alliance leader, despite being offended, maintains composure and reveals his own substantial kill count in the past and his position against the White Heaven Demonic Cult. He warns Ximen that his words will be overlooked only if the Ximen clan proves to be a worthy ally and a formidable martial force, or he will seek them out himself. The chapter ends with the alliance leader leaving, and a few days later, his party is at their destination of Sichuan.
