Synopsis

Harylin is ordered by her father to track down Jin Sohan, the head of an unorthodox faction, and propose an alliance. She's also tasked with evaluating his character and his subordinates' abilities. Meanwhile, another character arrives in a poor region and encounters a young boy selling snacks, who reveals that his profits go to a local sect, the Northern Heaven Master Sect, which has been abducting young adults. This seems like the start of an important plot point.
