The chapter begins with the group encountering a woman claiming to be a priestess who saved them, but is revealed to be a plunderer. They are forced to give up their weapons and valuables. Later, a new group appears, claiming to be attacked by monsters, but Rotmiller recognizes their scent from a previous encounter and exposes them as more plunderers. The chapter ends with the group deciding to turn the tables on the plunderers using the fact they are controlling Orcs.
The group encounters a 'priestess' who is actually a plunderer, and then a new group of supposed victims arrives, who are also revealed to be hostile plunderers.
