Bjorn is questioned about using what seems to be divine power, which he evades, while discovering an ancient text about 'Ruptures' and the Goddess' Tears, a powerful relic. He learns of a rare item called the Golden Mask, and also of the downfall of a corrupt guild called the Crystal Union, thanks to 'the Barbarian of Freedom'. Furthermore, his old party member Alynar has chosen to leave the party to pursue swordsmanship. The chapter concludes with Bjorn forming a new party and revealing detailed information about his stat and skill upgrades.
The protagonist, Bjorn, hides his use of the Goddess' Tears, learns about the Golden Mask, and forms a party to venture deeper into the dungeon. Meanwhile, the Crystal Union clan's downfall is revealed, and Alynar leaves the group to train as a swordsman.
