Synopsis

After the Jung Clan's destruction, Yeonshin parts ways with his remaining clan members and the Chief Steward, heading to the Desolate Fortress, a place where martial artists gather for a challenging entrance test. Along the way, he meets a fellow hopeful, Wonchang, and learns about the fortress's unique trial system. It's revealed that Yeonshin created his own martial art, astonishing the elder and indicating his hidden talent. Meanwhile, his sister Hye-ah is placed with the Zhongnan Sect and an elder of the sect shares the secret of the Desolate Fortress's leader connection to the fruit of the World Tree.
