Synopsis

The chapter begins with the Jung Clan welcoming the esteemed martial masters of the Zhongnan Sect, including a noble elder, and explores the clan's hopes for increased status and power. It also reveals that the patriarch's third son, Yeonshin, is viewed as a troublemaker but has actually mastered his clan's movement arts and developed his own martial style, however, he is also secretly dying due to a rare condition. The chapter concludes with a revelation of a hidden formation within the Jung Manor, and a flashback to the son's birth where it was foretold that he would not live long, highlighting the harsh reality of the patriarch's disdain for Yeonshin and the dangers lurking.
