Synopsis

This chapter focuses on unraveling the mystery of the parasitic threat in Fu Rong Town, revealing that the first parasite, 'Ghost,' led other parasites to the town and is now disguised among the survivors. The parasites are spread by evolved dandelion spores, and it is clarified that the first generation of parasites includes three individuals known as Queen, Tyrant, and Ghost, each with unique methods of infiltration and reproduction. A strategy to target the parasites' tongues as their most important organ is proposed, alongside a grim revelation about the townspeople being used as the parasites' 'placenta.'
