Synopsis

The chapter begins with Ming He preparing to dive into the reservoir to gather samples for analysis, while others discuss the potential danger and encourage President Tang to rest. Once underwater, Ming He discovers a bone, realizing the beast has evolved to eat people and that others have already been harmed. He attempts to gather more samples when he's ambushed by an unseen assailant, revealing the beast is still active and poses a direct threat.
