Synopsis

The chapter opens with students and faculty struggling to escape a mysterious mist that has engulfed their camp. They discover the mist is caused by demonic eggs reacting to rainwater and a special gas. To escape, they plan to use the demonic eggs to bait a giant centipede, which they believe can safely navigate the mist, hoping to follow its tracks out. The chapter ends with the group splitting into teams, with one team gathering eggs and another gathering remaining students, while the main character faces the mist's dangers head-on.
