Synopsis

The chapter starts with a tense standoff between soldiers and a group they believe are illegally occupying a shelter. Accusations fly as the leader of the 'occupiers' reveals the 'civilians' are actually hiding their weapons, leading to an unexpected alliance and the revelation that they were kidnapped. The situation escalates with the reveal of an 'Assassin' working for the villains, who is interrogated and then seemingly kills himself. It's revealed this Assassin is part of a larger plot involving the destruction of another shelter. The chapter ends with a violent confrontation as the 'soldiers' reveal themselves to be criminals attempting a power grab.
