Lee Jun Gyeong is congratulated on becoming a hunter, despite some reservations about its inherent nature. He then meets the leader of the League Guild, Yeo Seong Gu, who seems to recognize him, triggering memories in Lee Jun Gyeong about a past life as a hero known as Heimdal, and his connection to the Demon King.
The protagonist, Lee Jun Gyeong, awakens as a C-rank hunter, is discharged from the hospital, and moves into his new apartment. He unexpectedly meets the leader of the guild that saved him, who recognizes something familiar in him.
