Synopsis

The chapter begins with the introduction of the Azure Dragon Academy, which is considered past its prime. Baek Suryong, an applicant, makes bold claims about his ability to assess people, and later gets appointed as the remedial class instructor despite placing last in the instructor selection process. He also boldly declares his intent to lead the academy to victory in the Heavenly Martial Competition, despite their decade-long losing streak. This declaration garners mixed reactions, with some considering him crazy while others recognize his potential and are impressed by his skills and knowledge. The chapter ends with Suryong's colleagues going to celebrate, and the Vice-President acknowledging they cannot lose him.
