Synopsis

Instructor Namgoong demonstrates his overwhelming strength, analyzing each student's abilities and calling them failures, sparking anger among them. He reveals he learned a painful martial art out of a desire to overcome his background. The chapter explores his past and motivations, while contrasting his methods with another teacher, Baek Suryong, who seems to have inspired the students more effectively. Namgoong later admits the students have improved and he now expects them to show results at the Heavenly Martial Festival.
