Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist, presumably Vlad of Soara, having used his 'last javelin,' a powerful sword referred to as 'Dragon-Slaying Sword.' The sword breaks after fulfilling its purpose, but a character assures Vlad that its legacy remains, and that the connection between them isn't severed. Vlad is told that he carries the title of 'Bayezid' and that the sword was a witness to this title, signifying his unique status. He's also comforted by the prospect of getting a new sword, although it's implied that finding one with the same kind of connection will be difficult.
