Synopsis

Following a major battle, the protagonist is told to stand by until Mr. Joseph arrives, though he is also encouraged to help with paperwork and given the task of cleaning up the back alleys, using his knowledge of the area. The protagonist plans a visit to see a friend at the convent while also wanting to visit One-Armed Jack's imprisoned henchmen to look for a specific person. The chapter also shows the impact of the protagonist's recent actions on those around him and establishes his rising importance.
