Synopsis

The chapter begins with a brief training session where the protagonist is cautioned against overexertion, followed by a conversation about a past mission and the decline of honor amongst knights. He's then invited to a vacation by his friend, who offers hospitality and the chance to find horses. This hopeful moment is juxtaposed with a harsh critique by a superior, Jager, who accuses him of arrogance. The protagonist, instead of becoming angry, is deeply hurt by the disappointment and lack of confidence in Jager's eyes.
