Synopsis

The chapter opens with the House of Bayezid addressing reports of dark magic involving resurrection and curses in Varna, suspecting a group or organization behind it. Meanwhile, a knight named Goethe is interrogated about his future allegiance and his desire for freedom. Elsewhere, a group led by Joseph arrives at Bayezid, where they're introduced to Count's sons, and one newcomer, Vlad, refuses peanuts offered by a high-ranking person, causing commotion. Lastly, discussions about the newcomers and the Count's health take place, with a focus on Ragmus's thoughts on Joseph's report.
