Synopsis

Laurent's execution is faked using a body double, and he escapes with Barom's help. Hannah, who believes Laurent is dead, is revealed to be working undercover with the revolutionary forces, carrying out her orders despite her own feelings. Vinchem confronts Laurent's grandfather at the family mansion, where they are joined by the surprisingly alive Laurent, prompting an uprising, revealing the full extent of the family's resistance against the government. The chapter ends with a heated confrontation as both sides are now in the open conflict.
