Synopsis

The chapter follows the group's journey to Maeltume, encountering arrogant nobles and expensive teleportation fees. They learn of a sea battle and ongoing pirate threat which leads to Vinchin and Julian wanting to investigate the barrier at Maeltume. A mysterious figure, seemingly using a body altering technique, reveals his knowledge of Vinchin's abilities and offers to teach him a powerful 'Reversal Technique' to protect his body and enhance his powers. Raven, on the other hand, becomes motivated to become stronger and views Vinchin as his rival.
