Synopsis

Following a fierce battle with a contracted evil spirit, the chapter details the death of an instructor and injuries among cadets, while Malone is sentenced to lifelong confinement and stripped of his ability to wield a sword. Vinchien, the hero of the battle, and his brother Arslan are found trapped within Malone's memories, where they witness key moments from Malone's past, revealing his relationship with Dean Vargon and his subsequent fall. The brothers are now confronted with understanding Malone’s actions and how their own power is connected to it.
