Synopsis

The chapter begins with an introduction to a seemingly idyllic place for orphans, but it's quickly revealed to be a front. The adults are actually victims of injustice seeking revenge and are raising the children to be their instruments. The protagonist, Baekhyang, is deemed special and chosen by a powerful cult elder, the Demonic Buddha, to become her disciple. She must undergo cruel training based on powerful negative emotions, starting with starvation, to master the cult's demonic sword art.
