Synopsis

General Sarbas Aegim is confronted by a man claiming to be an emissary of the founding emperor, who quickly reveals the general's corrupt history. The emissary then uses a magical sword to assert his authority, claiming to have subdued the supposed witch and forcing her to perform silly tasks. Through a mix of manipulation and lies, he pits various factions against each other and proposes a test using a magical jade to reveal truth, setting the stage for further conflict and intrigue.
