Synopsis

The protagonist, initially unimpressed by the dungeon's treasure promises, is challenged by the dwarves to a game. The game turns out to be a near-identical copy of a game he played extensively in his youth. He easily wins, stunning the dwarves, who were using the game as a method of combat. He demands his reward, but they attempt to prolong the challenge due to his skill and the geas they are under, leading to further conflict.
